Caught on a hidden camera, Dad fights the blowing snow and quickly loads the burgers with cheese

Wichita, KS -  Going through 'when is it going to be summer' withdrawal, Dad wasn't going to let a few inches of blowing snow stop him from firing up the grill Thursday evening to barbecue some hamburgers. 

God knows what the neighbors thought when some nut was sweeping off snow layering the BBQ Grill cover. Dad slapped the burgers on the grill and went about his burger business. uh, no that's not yellow snow, that's cheese he's putting on the shivering burgers (left).

"I've cooked hamburgers in worst blizzards than this!", chattered Dad, with a cold blooded (beef blood that is) spatula in hand. "Why, I've been to Philmont and..I've been to Trappers....and I've... gotta be nuts!

Officials got the real story after the burgers were safely inside. "No, I'm just training for watching the winter Olympics in a few weeks".

Unity Village, MO - Even though it was cloudy and cold, Mom and Dad warmed up to their visit to Unity Village in Lee Summit last Friday. The visit wrapped up a two day visit with Leslie in KC, prior to returning to attend Matt's directing debut at Maize High School.
